I have
written a bit elsewhere on the bad direction I think #
keybase is heading and the poor decision to go full #
venturecapital rather than #
notforprofit. I have been wondering what I should do with the "free money" since I am not a user of crypto currency and even less interested in it with the typical behavior of
airdrops.
I was then reminded of a couple of things with the post from an excellent collective of IT people that offer organizing and #
FLOSS services to comrades around the world.
Fediverse post https://disroot.org/en/aliaschallenge
I thought "I would love to give to this group and they seem to know how to deal with crypto currency!" So with that, we chatted back and forth and they created a lovely
keybase identity to easlily pass your keybase lumens to. To quote from their profile though: "Don't communicate with us over keybase as we do not use it. Use email, IRC, XMPP, or Fediverse (mastodon, pleroma, hubzilla, firendica, diaspora)"
If you just have lumens from other stellar based resources there is also the address below for other methods of donation.

And if you don't want to donate to the Disroot collective, but want to send to another not for profit, just read this article for some other suggestions:

Taking this sort of capital injection, turning it around and donating it to a not for profit is really just the way to go in light of recent events. ...also it is just good praxis. Donate away!
