Hello I would like to ask if it is possible to add a "source channel"

of a twitter account. I am trying submitting user@twitter.com / @user@twitter.com but it doesn't pop up.

I am not sure if it is possible, I haven't tried. Basically, you need to add the source as a "new connection" first before you can add it as a "channel source".

Add New Connection -> /connections -- Enter the URL of the source, or the feed (Atom or RSS), much better
Once added, go to /sources (assuming you already activated this feature). Type in the "name" of the connection you added in Step 1, an auto-fill dropdown should show up, click the correct one

Example:

I added a new connection: https://example.com/feed -- after a successful connection, the channel name it automatically detected is "ExampleFeed"
In the "channel sources" setting, I type in "Name" field --ExampleFeed -- a drop-down of channels should appear and I click on the correct one

If there is a feed for Twitter accounts, you can use that as your "new connection". Or if you what you have in mind is this: Website --> Twitter --> Hubzilla, you can cut the middle-man: Website --> Hubzilla by adding the feed from your website as your "new connection".

Twitter is a walled garden and doesn't allow this directly. You need to use some 3rd party tool to create a RSS feed from a twitter channel. A quick search with google turned up these two:

https://twitrss.me/

https://queryfeed.net/

But I think IFTTT and similar services should also do.
That RSS feed you can than add as a connection (if the server has that enabled) and then you can add it as a source to your channel.

There are also some options to selfhost a twitter to RSS converter. I have not looked into the options in detail, but I am pretty sure NodeRed, Huginn or Beehive (all similar to IFTTT) can do that (and much more).
